Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Very very good Indian food! My husband is from India and he says Taj Mahal is the best Indian food in this area. We are a vegetarian family and like the vegetarian options. Portion sizes are good. You get a starter of papadan and 3 dipping sauces. Only thing I wish I could have? .....Dosa. Dosa is a South Indian dish and I have not had a good dosa in a long time. Otherwise Naan—excellent. Spice levels are low (unfortunately, because I love spicy. I have to tell the waiter I want real spice, not Spain spice), dishes are excellent!"
"I've had Indian food all over the world except in actual India. This place has to be the most accurate representation of how the food is supposed to taste. They had outstanding service, great selections, and the prices were not outrageous like most places. They have a very clean restaurant room and waiters spoke English or Spanish very well. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are craving Indian cuisine. My favorite dishes are the butter chicken curry, tandoori chicken, biryani rice (select your choice of meat), garlic/cheese naan, vegetable samosas, and if you're feeling spicy the Roganjosh dishes. They also deliver in case it is too full one day!"
"When we’re craving Indian cuisine, we go here! They is always friendly and efficient service and the food is always hot & delicious!"
"Very polite and clean. Food was fresh and hot and tasted delicious. Go with the garlic naan, it’s simply divine and has fresh garlic! Lamb biryani is so yummy, especially the tiki Marsala. Chicken Vindaloo"
"We had a chance to visit this place and dine in there with family. Food was very good. However we had ordered Baingan bhartha but was served something different. Other items were good. Service was very good and ambience was excellent. Overall it was a good experience dining there."
"I want to start by saying I’ve been to this place a lot of times and normally a five star experience. I gave a four star only because I had a three star experience. The chicken was a little cold and the papadam that they serve as the free as an appetizer tasted a little old. This is not common so I will return."
"We had a fantastic dinner here, also this was our first experience with proper indian food. The service was excellent, they speak english, so there wasn't any problem with customizing the order. We had funny moments when i realised, the medium spicyness is a whole different level what i was expecting, even though in Hungary spicy foods are common. My wife and daughter had mildly spiced food, it was perfect. The amount of food was enough. The place is clean and well made, with authentic decorations. If you are hungry for a good indian cuisine, i can strongly recommend this place!"
"We popped in on a Wednesday evening, it was quite so finding a table was easy. We had poppadoms to start, they were fresh but I would say the sauces were on the small size for 2 people sharing 4 poppadoms. The mains on the other hand were fabulous, good size portions and full of flavour. I think it was reasonably priced. Thestaff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place."
